John Falconetti

Chairman + Chief Executive Officer

John Falconetti started working for Drummond in 1989, became President in 2006 and then the Chairman and CEO in 2009, becoming the third generation in his family to run the company. 

He is a native of Jacksonville, FL, and received his BA from The University of the South.

In addition to transforming Drummond Press, John’s commitment to public service has been focused on the greater Jacksonville business and civic community, as well as state and national contributions to causes that he passionately supports. These activities and related distinctions include:

  • Inducted into the First Coast Business Hall of Fame (2018)
  • Named as an “Ultimate CEO” by the Jacksonville Business Journal, the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year by the American Red Cross of Northeast Florida, the Distinguished Young Alumnus of the Year by his college alma, and the Soderstrom Society by Idealliance.
  • Appointed by the past three Florida Governors as a Board Member of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority, Enterprise Florida, and the Jacksonville Port Authority, of which he served two terms as Chairman.
  • He is currently serving as Chairman-Elect of St Vincent’s Ascension Health Care System of Florida Board of Directors.
  • He formerly served on the Boards of St Marks Episcopal Day School, St. Marks Episcopal Church Foundation, and two terms as the Senior Warden of St Johns Episcopal Cathedral.
  • Held Chairman roles for the Jacksonville Library Board of Trustees as well as Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Jacksonville.
  • Membership in the National Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Jacksonville Symphony, The University of the South, and Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.  
  • An alumnus of Leadership Jacksonville, Leadership Florida, a member of The Downtown Rotary Club, named to the Jacksonville Business Journals Inaugural 40 Under 40 list, and is active in other various charities as well as St Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Mr. Falconetti is married to Shannon Miller, a 7-time Olympic Medalist and America’s most decorated gymnast. Together they created the Shannon Miller Foundation.

John and Shannon have a son, Rocco, and a daughter, Sterling. They spend their free time participating in Church and community service activities. He also enjoys pursuing his hobby of boating.

Paul Van Wie

President

Paul Van Wie was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. He received a BS in Physical Education from Arizona State University and an MS in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. After graduation, Paul went on to coach football at the collegiate and high school level. 

In 2002, Paul left coaching and joined Drummond Press as an Assistant Production Manager.

Early on, Paul led the estimating department and the successful installation of numerous offset and web presses. He also spearheaded Drummond’s companywide Lean initiative, bringing Drummond industry acclaim while significantly decreasing costs and throughput times. 

Since becoming President in 2012, Drummond has acquired and integrated numerous companies in the Atlanta, Georgia, and Detroit, Michigan area which has allowed Drummond to grow at an average of 18% per year. 

Paul and his wife, Anne Marie, have a daughter, Ava Mae, and are members of the St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral. In his free time, enjoys playing tennis, spending time on the St. Johns River, and spending time with family.

Eric Rant

Chief Operations Officer

Eric Rant earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lincoln University, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the Air War College (resident), and a Doctorate in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. 

He previously worked at WestRock for over 20 years and has experience in general management of single and multi-plant operations with full P&L responsibility. Eric is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and most recently served as Sr. Director of Enterprise (global) Operational Excellence for over 300 sites.

Eric served in the Army National Guard as a Colonel and was selected to the Brigadier General promotion list. Colonel (Retired) Rant has commanded at company, battalion, and brigade levels. Colonel (Retired) Rant is a veteran and bronze star recipient of the Iraq war. In 2005, he deployed to Ramadi, Iraq, with the 224th Combat Engineer Battalion, attached to the 2nd Marine Division.

Eric serves as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Drummond Press, Inc. and Drummond Press Holdings, LLC.

Don DuMond

Chief Financial Officer

Don DuMond graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Mathematics from Wake Forest University and has an MBA from Tulane University where he then began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in Jacksonville, FL. He has worked in both public and private settings, taking a company public in 1994 and conducting a secondary offering in 1995. He has actively managed numerous Merger & Acquisition transactions, both as a CFO and consultant.

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of U. S. Preventive Medicine, Inc. from 2014 to 2019, and is currently serving on their Board of Directors.

Don serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Drummond Press, Inc. and Drummond Press Holdings, LLC.

Gene Hindman

Chief Administration Officer

Gene Hindman joined Drummond in March of 2018 when they acquired the printing company in which he was a co-owner. Gene joined the Senior Management Team and became Drummond’s Chief Administrative Officer which keeps him involved with most areas of the company including sales, human resources, accounting, and operations. 

Gene’s entire career has been associated with commercial printing and he started his first printing company at the age of 26. His company, during the late 1990’s, was ranked the fastest growing printer in the state of Georgia and the 7th fastest in the nation. Gene serves on the Board of Directors for Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia and is also on the Executive Committee.  He has served on several committees including the Ben Franklin Selection Committee, CEO Search Team and is currently the Chair for the Governance Committee. 

Gene has been married for 30+ years and has 3 wonderful children. When he’s not involved with printing, he enjoys woodworking or general aviation in which he holds multiple certificates and ratings.

Chris Brock

Chief Information Officer

Chris Brock is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Drummond. He oversees the company’s e-commerce and information technology (IT) organization, with responsibility for the deployment of security initiatives, infrastructure, and solutions, as well as other innovative technologies that create a competitive advantage for the company. 

Prior to joining Drummond in 2018, he served as the CIO at another print services organization, and has held several leadership roles in the information technology field. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of technical solutions that address the needs of his customers in support of their missions.

In his free time, Chris is an avid car enthusiast and an advocate for making it a habit of learning something new each day, particularly with regard to technology and innovation. He previously served as a volunteer member of the IT Advisory Board for Georgia College. 

Chris holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia, and a variety of technical and professional certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and the Scrum Alliance.
