Expands market presence and unites operations
JACKSONVILLE, FL (April 3, 2018) — Drummond is pleased to announce the completion of a deal to acquire ProGraphics, a full-service commercial printer with operations in Georgia and Michigan. This step is an expression of Drummond’s strategic growth initiatives and amplifies the value the Drummond brand delivers to its clients. This synergistic joining of people, processes and technology offers significant new opportunities for growth, for clients and employees alike. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Drummond, a rare three-in-a-row recipient of the Best of Print & Digital Award, which measures customer loyalty, is confident this transaction augments its client value proposition:
- Superior enabling technology that focuses on optimizing the client’s workflow surrounding the design, ordering, production, fulfillment and distribution of branded materials.
- Premier innovation and marketing solutions that deliver creative adaptations of new and traditional products at the speeds the market demands, and elevate the client’s campaigns.
- Scale, capacity and excellence that ensure the client’s projects, whether direct mail, commercial print, large or small format, kitting or fulfillment, are delivered economically, accurately and on time.
“For 78 years, Drummond has remained committed to adding value to our growing client base, and that’s exactly what this transaction accomplishes,” said John Falconetti, Chairman and CEO of Drummond. “This is a merger of two premier organizations into one preeminent full-service provider. Our loyal clients and employees will be thrilled with the enhanced value we are bringing to the market.”
This is Drummond’s fourth investment in the Atlanta area. In 2012, the company purchased Graphic Communications Corporation (GCC), expanding into large format and gaining a geographical footprint outside of Florida. In 2015, the company purchased the print division of RGI, enhancing its digital marketing services offering. In January 2018, Drummond acquired Sunbelt Printing, augmenting its commercial print and fulfillment capabilities. Drummond currently operates four production facilities in Jacksonville and Atlanta, and will be uniting Atlanta operations at the ProGraphics facility.
ProGraphics has specialized in providing tailored, full-service solutions to loyal clients for more than two decades. As a result of continued growth and a solutions-minded client strategy, ProGraphics strategically decided to join the Drummond brand, renowned for excellent client care and holistic solutions.
“We are delighted to complete this transaction with Drummond. It’s exciting to know we share the important cultural values of integrity, accountability, and excellence in everything we do,” said John Pope, CEO of ProGraphics. “Uniting these two great organizations, which share so many fundamentals of success, will accelerate the opportunity for our clients and our employees to grow.”
